Reviews:
"Barbara
Scott came to our health-care facility and delivered a powerful
message with many practical tools. Our staff loved it."
"You
have fantastic skills and a great way of working with people."
"Thank
you so very much for giving me the opportunity to take this class!!!"
"You
certainly make a difference in people's lives. Thank you again."
"This
should be a required class for the courthouse."
"After seeing your presentation twice now, I feel very strongly that
this seminar should be part of every woman's educational process --
educational in the sense of learning to take responsibility for our own
safety. What we learned from your program is a great step toward
building our awareness and empowering ourselves to respond in
threatening situations and preventing attacks."
"I felt that the information that Barbara presented was presented in a
way that was easily understood...you could 'hear' the message she
presented...and it was presented in a unique and dynamic way.
Great speaker!"

Barbara
Scott
Founder and
CEO of Colorado Safety Educators
Colorado's Voice for Safety,
in-demand safety training coach, speaker, author and publisher.
Barbara
Scott has a passion for
making a difference. She is known for her sense of urgency
and having a bias for action. Her personal stories will
inspire and empower you as she openly shares with her audiences.
As a busy wife, mother, and businesswoman, she was
instrumental in creating strategies and fund-raising campaigns that
gave a family member a life-saving quarter-of-a-million dollar
kidney-pancreas transplant.
For twelve years,
Barbara took care of brittle diabetics. For
seven of those twelve years, care was a 24/7 lifestyle of constant
monitoring. Watching for daily swinging blood sugars and seizures
forced her to make too many life or death decisions. Constant
high stress created a life where Barbara was losing herself in the
transplant battle for funding. They were running out of time
and health. The weight on her shoulders was almost more than
she could handle. The many years in this role of caregiver
almost lost them both.
This life of constant
service took a great toil upon her emotionally,
physically, and mentally. She learned first-hand about who
really cares for the caregivers. Overcoming adversity,
struggles, exhaustion, poverty, and loss of identity, Barbara teaches
what she learned, and then put into personal action, on her journey
toward her own healing after the successful transplant was accomplished.
An entrepreneur almost
all of her life, Barbara started her first
business as a teenager, and created start-up ventures and adventures
from California to Germany, and finally here in Colorado.
As a businesswoman, she
has been requested to lay foundations for
speaker platforms for online political radio stations, as well as
creating and launching several national safety companies' awareness
programs in Colorado. She is a well-known educational
speaker, who for the last several years, has traveled up and down the
Front Range of Colorado instructing men, women, and children with her
popular public awareness safety campaigns.
Dedicated to helping
others, Barbara is a source of inspiration.
Today she focuses on conducting personal security and
behavioral safety seminars and emotional training sessions for her
massive public awareness campaigns.
Barbara's unique blend
of common sense, humor, knowledge, enthusiasm,
and sensitivity, captivate and involve her audiences. Thousands have
benefited from her solution-oriented presentations which she delivers
with high-content and dramatic flair.
